Cruises – Can I Get Free Child Places?

Discover which cruise lines offer free child places on the 2010 program. Most cruise lines also offer special rates for children and even FREE child places, when sharing a cabin with two full-fare paying passengers. This makes cruising an excellent choice for families, as all meals, accommodation and entertainment are included in the total fare.

The first cruise line I would like to bring you attention to is MSC. With this line children cruise free all year, and are only charged for port dues and flights. If sailing from the UK this makes a family cruise holiday very reasonable, as children are only charged port dues (approx £ 100- £ 150). This deal even applies during the school holiday period. When compared to a traditional beach holiday, this deal is very attractive.

The next line worth knowing is Disney Cruise Line. Cruising to the Mediterranean in 2010 they are offering free child places on selected 14 night sailings. The offer is only applicable to specific sailing dates, which do not fall within the school holiday period. However, if you are able to take you children out of school the offer does look very appealing.

Another cruise line offering free child places is P & O. This offer is applicable to a variety of itineraries including the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and the Fjords, all departing from Southampton. Again, the offer is only applicable to specific dates, which do not fall within the school holidays, but great savings for an exceptional family holiday can be made!

The last line I would like to mention is Princess Cruise Lines. They offer free child places on a competent of cruises aboard the Grand Princess, sailing around the Mediterranean. As with the previous two cruise lines these offers are during school term time, so it does depend on whether you are able to holiday during this time.
