Should I Take a 2 Year Old on a Cruise? Rest Your Worries Aside

I see this question a lot – should I take a 2 year old on a cruise? Worried if your 2 year old is not yet toilet-trained? Did you know that some cruise lines does not allow kids in swim diapers? The good news is some of the cruise lines will allow kids in the pool but the not so good news is that it it will cost you more. Another thing to look for is whether the cruise line has a nursery section but again it will be pricey.

The kids love the swimming pool but parents can not afford to bring their children if they are not yet toilet-trained. It would be hard for you to see the look in your child's face knowing that they can not go into the pool. You could wait for your 2 year old to be trained or you can still go on a cruise but expose your kids to other worthwhile activities other than going to the pool.

Now you have an option whether to go on a cruise to take your child into a pool. Cruising with your 2 year old is quite challenging but it's really a lot of fun because there are a lot of things that you can do without the pool. But if you really want your kids swimming, the beach on the ports allow kids to swim without any swim diapers.

Another thing to think about is if you want to have time for yourself. Having the kids in nursery will definitely give you some time off and relax. Cruise lines are thinking of ways to get more people on board. Some of them have in-cabin babysitting and non-potty trained area for your kids.
